Baikal Lake

Baikal great sizes allow it to grow and feed numerous kinds of fish, animals and birds which live near and in the waters. It is called the Siberia giant lake which sizes exceed the area of Belgium and its surrounding mountains create the image of fairy land with wonderful and unreal inhabitants. Baikal is located forty miles from Irkutsk which is the Russian Siberian large city situated in the south east of the area. The deepness of Baikal lake impresses, in some places it reaches a mile and such deep waters count amount more than all the North America Great Lakes amount together.
The numerous flora and fauna of the Lake gives tons of material to study for scientists from all over the world. It counts more than one thousand and eight hundred species and two thirds of them are unique and cannot be found anywhere except the Baikal Lake. Some of these species demonstrate the majesty of nature which is the greatest and most gifted creator in the world. There is a unique fish there which is so limpid that even tiny dots can be seen through its body. Other wonderful and unique inhabitants of the Baikal Lake are its seals which are so unique because they manage to travel one thousand miles form the nearest sea salt waters and settle in fresh waters of Baikal. These animals have adopted their daily life of feeding, breathing and reproduction while living in fresh waters and have grown their number up to forty thousand of species.
Baikal Lake attracts thousand of tourists annually who are impressed by its beauty and surrounding mountains offer climbers the great opportunity to get unforgettable memories.
