The Ryazan Region reaches a new level of mass tourism development

The information on realization of the regional target program « Development of tourism in the Ryazan area for 2006-2010 » has been presented to the deputies of the region Council at the session of committee on the social and demographic policyon Tuesday, March, 6th.

Lead in 2006 within the limits of the program of action have been directed on perfection of processes on complex development of tourism, and especially, a tourist infrastructure of the region with the purpose of increase in streams of entrance and internal tourism in the field of.

According to the information given by the head of department of tourism of the Ryazan area by Alexey Yepifanov, in 2006 was the complex of actions « Creation of marketing strategy of increase of tourist appeal of the Ryazan area » is developed, is carried out research by definition of appeal of area and the sociological portrait of the tourist is made.

The special attention in 2006 was paid to the preparation of information materials: catalogues, booklets, guidebooks. The fourth edition of the tourist catalogue on the Ryazan area in Russian and for the first time in English is prepared. The powerful printed edition became « the Guidebook on museums of the Ryazan area », in a stage of end development of the multimedia version of the tourist encyclopedia on area in DVD format .

Now the territory of Ryazan and the Region are in the stage of construction or reconstruction of a number of objects – hotel complexes. The most significant, according to the mass tourism, are hotel " Lovech " (construction of business center and an additional complex on 60 places), hotel on the street Keramzavod, two hotels " Ryazanenergo " for 60 persons, congress-hotel " Forum " for 220 persons, sports hotel " Lovech-sports " for 60 persons, the international tourist center in Novoslobodskaya Street.

On precomputations only in 2006 for development of tourism infrastructure it was possible to involve about 150 million roubles of investment means, in 2007 this sum should increase, at least, twice.
